🚀 Exciting News Alert - Sofya has taken a giant leap forward in the field of Clinical AI! This week, CEO Igor Couto and Data Scientist Bruno Dorneles presented the research findings on the advancements of our Clinical LLM at the Spring Symposium of aaai.org, at prestigious #StanfordUniversity. 🎯 Check out the paper in Arxvix: https://lnkd.in/eRAx-iYq Sofya's Clinical LLM has surpassed GPT3.5 and Mixtral7x8b and achieved comparability with Google-Gemini Pro in tasks related to structuring clinical data using health interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR FOUNDATION entities. In this first version, we address the issue of structuring clinical data according to interoperability standards, enabling institutions to control the governance of their own model and infrastructure (our model will be open source ⭐). The purpose of this research is to provide support to healthcare professionals in planning patient care. We aim not only to reduce the bureaucratic workload but also to enhance the quality and personalization of patient treatment while simultaneously reducing the costs associated with healthcare systems. 🇺🇸On monday, 25/march, I will be presenting our poster about Sofya first trained Clinical Large Language Model model in Spring Symposium of aaai.org at Stanford. Deploying deep intelligence for healthcare workflows is a huge opportunity to improve patient outcomes and lower the costs of the heavily overburned care systems. In this first release, we tackled the problem of clinical data structuring according to interoperability standards, while enabling institutions to control governance of their own models and infrastructure (yes, the model will be open source ❤️). We also worked in a method for fast iteration in model training and evaluation. We are now accelerating to move from multimodal clinical data to biomedical patient graphs, and clinical reasoning for many critical use cases in the health journey. Sofya has the goal to process 1 million patient clinical notes this year. In the coming months, the company will unveil its LLM (Large Language Model), a kind of ChatGPT specifically trained for the clinical field. "The healthcare market has always had decision support systems, but from a technological and computational standpoint, this is still quite basic.
