First time listener. Loved the interview with the Nats cart driver. And loved the Brooks Kieschnick mention. Met him back when he was starring at University of Texas back in the early 90’s. Thought his bat would play better in the bigs, but that was the first time I’d seen college ball.
OTOH: he was one of five players inducted into of first class of the College Baseball Hall of Fame, along with Dave Winfield, Robin Ventura, Will the Thrill Clark, and Bob Horner.
Gotta wonder what he could have been with an Ohtani Rule in place. Never could hit ML lefties though.
