Optimizing Semiconductor Production with Infrared Inspection In the fast-paced world of semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring product yield and quality is paramount. Infrared inspection plays a vital role in achieving this goal, both at the wafer level and in packaged devices. See Through Silicon: Unveiling Defects with SWIR Cameras Short-wave infrared (SWIR) cameras use light with a longer wavelength than visible light, allowing them to see through silicon ingots. This enables inspectors to identify defects invisible to the naked eye, such as impurities, voids, and inclusions. Early detection of these imperfections helps to ensure higher quality wafers and reduce production costs. Beyond SWIR: Emission Microscopy for Comprehensive Analysis Emission microscopy, a technique used to detect photonic radiation emitted from defect sites. This method provides valuable insights into the nature of the defect, complementing the information obtained from SWIR imaging. Superior Inspection Solutions We offer a range of infrared inspection solutions to meet your specific needs, including the Manx SQ, Bobcat+, Lynx SQ, and Wildcat+ series. Adaptive Optics (AO) or wavefront sensing (WFS) is a technique to measure wavefront errors or distortions and correct the resulting image in real-time. Often used in astronomical applications, they help to produce quality images that enable researchers to conduct accurate analysis. In astronomy systems with AO, a bright reference star is often used to measure the distortion of the optical wavefront due to a turbulent atmosphere. With infrared wavefront sensing, fainter reference stars in the sky can be used for AO with low noise short-wave infrared cameras. Suitable products for this application: - Bobcat/Bobcat+ series - Wildcat/Wildcat+ series - Cheetah series https://bit.ly/459GkzY #AdaptiveOptics #WFS #Astronomy #Bobcat #Wildcat #Cheetah #SWIR #Xenics #Exosens

See Beneath the Surface: Unveiling Details with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Revolutionizing Imaging: From Medical Diagnostics to Industrial Inspection Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) offers a groundbreaking imaging technique similar to ultrasound, but with light! It uses low-coherence light to generate high-resolution, cross-sectional images of tissue structure, reaching depths in the millimeter range. Deeper Penetration with SWIR Technology Traditional OCT utilizes visible light, limiting tissue penetration. However, with the advancement of InGaAs detectors and cameras, OCT scanners employing SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) wavelengths achieve significantly deeper tissue exploration. Medical Marvel: Illuminating the Body's Inner Workings Today, OCT shines in the medical field, serving as a standard non-invasive analysis tool. It produces detailed cross-sectional images of living tissue, allowing doctors to diagnose and monitor various conditions. A prime example is its use in eye scans, where OCT meticulously examines the retina, revealing its distinct layers for thickness measurement and damage detection. Beyond Medicine: OCT Takes on Industry The impact of OCT is rapidly expanding beyond healthcare. In the industrial sector, OCT emerges as a cost-effective quality control tool for real-time inspection of multi-layered objects during manufacturing processes. High-speed InGaAs cameras are instrumental in these applications. Elevate Your Inspection Process: We offer a range of products: Wildcat+ series, Manx R series, and Cheetah 640 series that can be used in the OCT applications. Contact us today to explore how our products can revolutionize your inspection capabilities! https://lnkd.in/g7AXctsp #OCT #Medical #Industrial #Highspeed #Wildcatplus #Cheetah #Inspection #SWIR #Infrared #Xenics #Exosens
