Partnerships are how we achieve a clean bus fleet! 🌳 The 40th UITP Trolleybus Committee meeting took place in Poznań, Poland, where bus manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach and local operator Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o. (MPK) are working together to roll out zero emission buses across the Polish city. Right now, MPK's fleet numbers 330 buses, of which 25 are powered by hydrogen and 58 by electric battery. And there are more to come! 🚌 📣 "Already today, over 80% of the vehicles we produce are zero-emission vehicles. 📢 And it’s a wrap! Last week saw the launch of the 22nd edition of UITP’s ‘Diploma Programme for Managers in Public Transport’ in the USA with our hosts and partners NJ TRANSIT 🚈🚍 This flagship training programme is designed to provide leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to meet the demands of public transport sector and sustainable mobility. Our first module held over a 3-day period covered the topics of Policy, Planning Regulation, and Funding. 🙏 We would like to thank NJ TRANSIT for their exceptional welcome, to our international list of trainers including Michael Pellot and Guido Bruggeman, and to our 29 candidates from across the globe 🌎 who bring a wealth of diverse viewpoints to the programme. We wish them all the best as they continue their training journey in Malmö and Hong Kong later this year! 🌟

🌍 SOLUTIONSplus comes to a conclusion in Brussels! The project set out to revolutionise sustainable transport through electric mobility solutions. By increasing the availability of electric vehicles and enhancing their integration in large urban areas, the project addressed local conditions and user needs across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
