We first launched our proof-of-concept at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in 2021. Since then, we’ve seen a great determination from the industry to understand, test and implement our analyzers. It was great to be back last week to see a lot of familiar and new faces. We have three key takeaways: ✅ PPWR is on everyone’s mind ✅ The need for data-driven compliance and sorting optimization is becoming the norm (yes, we’re biased) ✅ Belgium will win the Euros (just kidding – not everyone at PolyPerception supports this point)

Thank you Erica Caluwaerts and Jill Cools for visiting us yesterday 🤩 It was lovely to meet you and share more about what we’re working on at PolyPerception. We also want to thank Stad Antwerpen for supporting us through their innovation subsidy. In 2020, Rafael Hautekiet used the first innovation subsidy to turn PolyPerception from an idea into a proof of concept. Four years later, we have our analyzers installed across 6 countries in Europe 🚀 With the new subsidy, we’re able to continue pushing the boundaries of applying Deep Learning in waste sorting. We're very happy to see the city engaging and collaborating with the startup ecosystem in Antwerpen 😊 -- Hartelijk dank Erica Caluwaerts en Jill Cools voor jullie bezoek gisteren 🤩 Het was fijn jullie te leren kennen en te kunnen delen waar we bij PolyPerception aan werken. We willen ook Stad Antwerpen bedanken voor hun innovatiesubsidie. In 2020 gebruikte Rafael Hautekiet de eerste innovatie subsidie om van PolyPerception een proof of concept te maken.
