Het SRA introduceert de Antwerpse #bouwshift, een strategie voor slimme verdichting die rekening houdt met de specifieke kenmerken van elke buurt. 🤝 De stad nodigt partners en investeerders uit om bij te dragen aan deze visie, met strategische instrumenten zoals de bouwcode en de transformatieleidraad om ontwikkelingen te sturen. Aanvullende plannen zoals RUP’s en het woonbeleidsplan zullen worden ontwikkeld om het SRA in de praktijk te brengen, waarmee Antwerpen een kader stelt voor toekomstige stedelijke leefbaarheid. 🙏 Speciale dank gaat uit naar het team stad Antwerpen en KENTER. Dit maakt deel uit van de opwaardering van de Leie-as, een project van De Vlaamse Waterweg nv voor Seine Schelde Vlaanderen. ✔️ Sweco leidt de studie en het co-creatieve traject voor het ontwikkelen van een belevingsconcept en een huisstijl voor recreatieve infrastructuur. We ontwerpen zeven roothoeken (beleefpunten) in een netwerk van dertien beleefzones. 🌟 Dit project is een mooi voorbeeld van hoe kleine veranderingen een groot verschil kunnen maken in het landschap en de gemeenschap. 💡 Conference 7 May: Flipping the Hourglass, Towards Sustainable Land Use in Europe and Flanders Next Tuesday 7 May our expert on circular cities Felipe Gonzalez will be speaking in Bruges during this event on 'No Net Land Take'. The conference is organised in the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.  We are looking forward to share this moment with other experts in the field and participate in this event organized by Departement Omgeving. Felipe will showcase our integrated approach to designing circular economic districts – both underground as above ground. To illustrate the methodology, he will present the project Oosteroever Circular District, where we envisioned, in intensive collaboration with Stad Oostende, how to rehabilitate an industrial area into an innovative, productive and regenerative harbor district. He will be participating in the afternoon sessions on ‘Efficient land take’, together with Shana Debrock, Els Willems Helena Bieseman and Margot Lootens of the Department of Environment and Spatial Development.
