|I served in the Army from July of 1989 until April of 2014. My job in the Army was 88M, Motor Transport Operator, which is just a cool way of saying truck driver. I held a variety of duty positions including; Wheeled Vehicle Operator, Training NCO, Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, and Platoon Sergeant. I deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Operation Joint Forge, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After leaving the Army I moved to Arizona and served as a Peace Officer for a short period.
In 2017 I moved to Tennessee to be closer to family.
I currently live in Morrison with my wife Cindy and our youngest child Nicholas.
Since moving to Tennessee, I have been an active member of VFW Post 5064, serving as a member of the Honor Guard and as Quartermaster, I am also a member of American Legion Post 173. I currently serve on the Safety Ministry at First Baptist Church in McMinnville.
- Problem One: Unsecure Borders: Solution: New Representatives who are dedicated to securing our borders. New Representatives who will stand in the breach unafraid of political fallout. Legislation that is clear, concise, and detailed enough to leave little room for questions about enforcement by the executive branch.
- Problem two: Lack of Fiscal Responsibility: We currently have Representatives spending our tax dollars like a bunch of drunken Paratroopers at the strip club. This is reckless, unsustainable, and must end immediately, if not sooner Solution: New representatives who will say no to deficit spending regardless of any pressure or political fallout Cut all foreign aid until our borders are secure. Streamline all federal agencies by cutting administrative bureaucrats. Clear and concise legislation containing one issue per bill.
- Problem Three: Infringements on 2nd Amendment, and other, Rights: “Shall not be infringed” is very clear. Solution: Representatives who stand on principle and refuse to negotiate individual rights away for the illusion of safety. Repeal the 1934 NFA and the 1968 Gun Control Act. Relook and clarify all legislation to prevent agencies from interpreting it on their own. The ATF and the pistol brace are one example.
Stopping the tyranny being inflicted on American Citizens by the Federal Government.

Integrity and Moral Courage.
I have been placed into an sought out difficult and demanding jobs/position which have prepared me to represent the citizens of the 4th District.
To defend the Constitution, take the concerns of the Citizens to DC, and to vote with the personal values that are aligned with district values.
To be associated with the congress that shrank the size of the federal government and ended deficit spending.
The Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. I was 14 years old.
U.S. Army Soldier. I served from July of 1989 until April of 2014.
Accepting the mission.
The power of the purse and the Representatives are more directly responsible to the citizens that they represent.
Securing the borders. Reeling in the reckless spending and governmental overreach being perpetrated on the American people.
I think it's time to have a Convention of States and discuss the issue. I believe anyone elected at the federal level should self regulate to serving no more than 12 years.
Not yet.
The common story I hear in the district is that it is time for change.
In some instances compromise is necessary unless that compromise is my integrity or my moral courage.
I will only vote yes on legislation that is within the scope of the Constitution and within the budget.
Right now they should be investigating the policies that they have supported which have resulted in a $34 Trillion national debt. Then, they should pursue legislation to correct it.
Appropriations, Armed Services, Budget.
Full transparency for how and where our tax dollars are being spent and absolute accountability of the government.
