I've been a Utah resident for 20 years, and have fallen in love with the state. I attended UVU where I graduated with a degree in Digital Media with a minor in Computer Science. I have worked for Utah based businesses and have even started my own small business. I am currently employed as a Product Manager and have been involved in technology for my entire adult life.

I am running primarily because there shouldn't be any unopposed races to ensure that a democracy can continue to flourish. I also am running because I have been very disappointed in the targeted actions that have been taken against citizens of the state and the obsession the legislature has with the LGBTQ community.

I am very excited to be able to serve in the capacity I am able to, and look forward to connecting with constituents inside the district.

  • Utah is a place for everyone. We need to make sure legislation isn't filed or passed that actively harms those who live here - and unfortunately the LGBTQ population has been unfairly and unjustly targeted. I want to reduce the legislative obsession with the LGBTQ community and help Utah be a place where everyone is free to be who they are without the government dictating who they can be and where they can go.
  • Education is one of our most important investments for the future of the state, and it starts with making sure that Public Schools are provided with the highest quality materials and staff. Increasing teacher salary, providing additional funds for school supplies, and providing support for our students in school will be a top priority. Working with teachers will be a top priority to make sure that Utah becomes a model state for education.
  • Another important investment we need to make is in the ecology of the State of Utah. With dire messages about the Great Salt Lake, over consumption of water, and our awful air quality we need to take immediate and decisive steps to ensure that Utah is still a beautiful and habitable place for generations to come. By working with experts I want to help draft and pass legislation that will put Utah on track to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Yes as you can only build up legislation through cooperation and their constituents

I think that all donors and financial transparency should be a staple of all elected individuals
