I am an earth angel. I have always helped others even when I was without. I believe in being kind because being mean is ugly. I am running for Reno City Council Ward 1 because I want to make my community better. As a Leader, I hope to achieve to have followers who have the same compassion and desires to make Reno a better place for all to live, grow, and heal. As a 24-hr community I want to bring healing, and eliminate toxic places and things that eliminate a person's growth from achieving their highest potential.

  • I am a survivor of human trafficking. It took me several attempts to leave my traffickers. As a woman who dealt with father issues, My traffickers used this against me with abuse that no one cared about me. I grew up feeling unloved, and unwanted by family. Therefore I did not love myself. I have since healed and love myself more everyday for the woman I have become. I want to heal others by letting them know they are loved and wanted and they are important.
  • I want everyone to feel safe in their environment. As a survivor of human trafficking, I was forced into homelessness and poverty. I felt unsafe everywhere I ran to as my traffickers had me watched and stalked 24-HR a day. Losing jobs because my traffickers wanted to leave me in poverty. I want to create Job Security, so this doesn't happen to anyone else. When a person loses their financial freedom, they lose resources to sustain a functioning lifestyle, which overtime deteriorates their mental health and well being.
  • As a child growing up in an abusive household, my voice was never heard. I have dealt with injustice all of my life. From law enforcement to court officials, I was always the defendant. From 12 years old to 40 years old, My abusers were allowed to abuse with their power and authority. I want to help children and adults suffering and being attention to what is hidden in the dark.

Holding those accountable for their actions. Secrets stay hidden because of bribes. People are paid to keep quiet, and in fear because of losing jobs, and or life for being a truth teller.

I only look up to the Higher Power, The Lord. When you know who The Lord is, You will fear of making wrong decisions in life. As The Lord gives us free will, everyday is a lesson.

As I have lived in Reno, NV since 1986, Those I grew up around known me to be an honest person. I held agreements if I said I would do something, I did it.
I have been a hard worker all of my life, never having a vacation because work needed to be done.
If selected for office, I will continue to keep my word for my community. I would ask my community to have the same faith in me as I had faith to change my own livelihood.

I being in Honesty, and Integrity. It is better to be honest because eventually truth will be revealed. I will always hold my head high with Integrity knowing I made good decisions.

I did not grow up with any remarkable mentors, which caused me to learn my lessons. I believe in being a positive role model in which ever role I am in. I believe in being a do-gooder as you never know who is watching and learning from your examples.

To Be A Leader, To be an example for those who want to follow in your footsteps. Doing the right thing sets the tone for the future.

I want to leave, knowing my legacy made others want to be better humans.

When President Obama became President. I was in Washington D.C. during the inauguration and It was so exciting to watch everyone so happy to watch the person of their choice be elected into office, and secondly because a man of my skin tone was elected to make decisions for the United States of America.

My first job was while I was in highschool. I worked as a hostess for school credits to obtain my Highschool diploma.

As an employee, I was denied of access to operations and management as management made me feel I worked for them and not a company. I feel they should be held accountable 100%. Same with government as I have had to prove myself over and over again with the same outcome. Government was never held accountable, though I had to fight for my own freedom.
