The original iPhone SE has officially joined the ranks of the original iPhone on Apple’s vintage and obsolete products list.

The iPhone SE launched in March 2016, making it a bit over seven years since its launch. MacRumors notes that the phone was sold until September 2018, making it at least five years since you were able to snag one at a store, which earns it Apple’s vintage designation. Products are labeled obsolete after seven years.

So, what does the new designation mean? If you currently are using an iPhone SE, your device is no longer guaranteed to be eligible for repairs through Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers, simply because they will no longer be keeping parts in stock for those repairs. Apple will, however, repair the device if it has the part on hand.

In addition to the original iPhone SE, Apple also added the original 12.9-inch iPad Pro to its vintage list today as well as the Mickey Solo3 wireless headphones. The Powerbeats 2 and Solo2 Wireless headphones were also added to the company’s obsolete list, MacRumors says.

If you're a fan of Apple's smaller, budget-minded iPhone SE lineup, the 2022 version is still on sale, starting at $429.
