Pasteuriser Operator & Dexion Administrator

The purpose of this role is to ensure the correct heat treatment of product according to EOM specifications and ofi guidelines.

Reporting to the Manager - Kernal Processing, you will be accountable for

ensuring the correct heat treatment of product according to EOM specifications and ofi guidelines. Ensure that the Dexion and SAP sync goes ahead, and all stock is in the correct location when cross referencing between systems. Balancing anomalies to show the correct location. Role responsibilities include:

Pasteurization

• Ensuring product is staged out in a timely manner according to pasteurization schedule
• Attend weekly planning meeting to discuss schedule and understand priorities of product based on customer receival date to ensure order dates are not jeopardized.
• Ensure sampling is conducted and sent to lab for sensory assessment and micro testing.
• Ensure a visual verification of pallets post pastoralizing are in a dispatchable condition.
  
  

Pasteurization Operations

• Ensure accurate production records and daily performance reports are maintained and assist team as required to maximise throughout, minimize downtime, and ensure effective operations.
• Encourage multi-skilling and upskilling to promote team culture, and recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production
• Encourage a culture of continual improvement and team work to reduce costs, improve quality outcomes, improve safety, minimise losses/incidents/accidents
• On-call in the event of a major production problem
  
  

Dexion Administration

• Escalate any discrepancies to the Dexion team.
• If there are any anomalies, you are responsible for manually adjusting the stock locations.
• Accountable to liaising directly with Dexion in relations to any software updates and programs that require updating and/or replacements.
• Perform daily checks of the condition reports to ensure the 2am sync between Dexion and SAP shows correct storages location for product within Dexion.
  
  

Dispatch

• Assist the dispatch team with daily operations in the need arises
  
  

Productivity

Seek productivity gains and innovations that lead to improved equipment reliability and drive efficiency through planned maintenance, lower consumption costs and reduced management costs across farms.

People

Promote and contribute to the development of staff and assist in the establishment of objectives and targets.

We seek applications from people with pervious processing experience in grain or associated industry and workplace health and safety requirements desirable. Experience working with SAP

Strong communication skills, with an average level of Excel ability and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Current Forklift licence essential.
