SPP is proud to have partnered with the University of Melbourne and Monash University on a critical analysis of the economic impact of proposed caps on overseas university students. Our team worked closely with the universities to understand and forecast the potential $6 billion adverse impact to the Victorian economy. This collaboration highlights the significant role international students play in our education sector and broader economic landscape. Great work by our team, led by Ben A., together with Noel Leung (MAICD), Adrian Coates, Aleksandar Vuruna, and Daniel Mellish. We remain committed to supporting the education industry in navigating complex challenges and driving sustainable growth. Our latest article, "One Small Step for AI - One Giant Leap for Your Organisation," outlines a strategic 'Question First' approach to guide your AI initiatives and get them out of the starting blocks. By identifying where there is a business need or question, and what AI capabilities exist, organisations can then ideate on how AI can meet critical business needs. This ensures each AI deployment adds real value and aligns with your business goals. SPP was thrilled to join over 14,000 organizations in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to support Cancer Council Australia. With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer by age 85, it’s crucial to contribute to this cause. In addition to enjoying lots of sweet treats, our very own Kim Poth presented a 'Cancer 101' Masterclass, followed by an insightful Q&A session. Funds raised will support cancer research and vital support services for the 150,000 Australians diagnosed each year. SPP is privileged to work with some of Australia's world-class cancer researchers to support them in developing compelling large-scale funding bids, and quantifying and communicating their impact to funders and the community. We were proud to support WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research), Children's Cancer Institute and Monash University on their successful MRFF Frontier Health and Medical Research Initiative bid, which has culminated in this week's launch of Ternarx, a biotech company that will develop ground-breaking targeted protein degrader therapeutics to advance cancer treatment. #BiggestMorningTea #CancerCouncil #Fundraising #CommunitySupport #SPP
