This week our team joined together in Perth for our annual staff conference. We had the opportunity to tour the Perth Boortmalt and Quaker Oats PepsiCo facilities as well as the CBH Group Kwinana Grain Terminal. This was a great experience for our staff to get an insight into the other end of the supply chain and see firsthand where the varieties we breed end up.   We take immense pride in our breeding programs and the wheat, barley and oat varieties that result from them. Being able to visit these esteemed facilities was a chance for our staff to see the tangible impact of their hard work and dedication and better understand the supply chain and expectations of our partners and consumers.   A huge thanks to Boortmalt, Quaker, and CBH Group for opening their doors to us 🍺🍞🥣

It's a bustling time of the year for us with seeding prep nearly complete, seeding of trials well under way, and preparations beginning for the spring field day season. This year, we will have over 300,000 plots at 70+ sites across the entire grain growing region of Australia. This achievement is a huge testament to the dedication and hard work of our teams. As you can see from the photos, their smiles say it all! Fingers crossed for some decent rain across the country and a fantastic season ahead for everyone! 🌱🌦️
