Last week we rounded out our Ignition Discovery Days in Sydney! We had a detailed Ignition introduction from Francisco Carrión, Heshan Rajakaruna, and William Bowen of Inductive Automation Australia, plus Chief Technology Architect Kevin McClusky joined us from Inductive Automation to take a deeper look at how Digital Transformation and the roadmap for Ignition 8.3. During this event, Jarith Fry of Highland Pine Products shared the impact of Ignition on his personal career as well as the company. With a decade of experience as an integrator and five years in HMI design, he shared that Ignition opened doors for him. We love to hear that! Next week, we'll be trading Kevin for Chief Technology Evangelist Travis Cox and we'll be in Auckland, New Zealand, on 23 July followed by a return to Australia for an event in Perth on 25 July. Missed getting a spot at our Discovery Days? Not a problem! Our team is happy to connect with you: https://lnkd.in/gKKk7SdT #automation #manufacturing #integrator

Inductive Automation Australia reposted this
I had the opportunity to present and collaborate with some incredible individuals at Ignition Discovery Days in Sydney. Inductive Automation shared exciting information about Ignition 8.3 and even demonstrated the creation of a basic SCADA system from scratch in under an hour. Inspired by my discussions with others at the event, I am motivated to begin developing and releasing a new module for the Ignition community. This module will enable direct parsing of CSV tag exports from Allen Bradley PLCs to Ignition tags, including the extraction of symbols and tag descriptions. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development. Inductive Automation Australia Inductive Automation

Kevin McClusky traveled halfway around the world to deliver a sneak peek of Ignition 8.3 with our Inductive Automation Australia team!
Brisbane’s Ignition Discovery Day was a Hit! My Highlight was the opportunity to see some of the 8.3 features that are looking to be released on launch…. I’m not going to release any spoilers but if your attending the rest of the tour dates your in for a exclusive sneak peak.. I will also say is I’m excited for the release as I know the community has driven some of the changes. ✍️ 🔨 We also had the pleasure of two end user sessions from Hyne Timber and Suntory Oceania which showcased how Ignition has impacted their businesses and how they leveraged our growing community of system integrators. If you have a ticket for the Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Auckland events keep them safe as they are the hottest tickets 🎟️ in town! #ignition #industrialautomation Inductive Automation Australia 🇦🇺 #iiot #manufacturing #assetmanagement #digitaltransformation
