We've added several Ford Transits to our fleet over the past few months, but the 430E stands out as the largest of them all. This beauty boasts a whopping 1,578kg payload, making it a powerhouse for our operations. Driver safety was a key consideration in our choice, and the 430E is equipped with a van load of features: driver and passenger front, side, and head airbags, crash avoidance, vehicle stability, and blind spot monitoring, to name just a few. Today is WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY! Created by the WHO, this day raises awareness about the dangers of tobacco to our health, communities, and environment. Did you know smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in our country, causing around 20,000 deaths annually? Tobacco smoke contains over 70 cancer-causing chemicals and harms nearly every organ in the body. Children exposed to second-hand smoke are at greater risk of illness and sudden unexpected death. In 2024, smoking rates in Australia fell below 10%, but vaping is on the rise. Despite being marketed as safer, e-cigarettes contain harmful chemicals leading to health issues like nicotine addiction, lung injury, strokes, and heart attacks. We encourage our team, and others to make healthier choices, advocate for change, and stand against the harm of tobacco and vaping.
