Bethesda is a proud sponsor of the breakfast, which provides an opportunity for the palliative care sector to come together to reflect on the past year and share our vision for the future. Our MPaCCS and inpatient palliative care team had a great morning and loved catching up with colleagues who are also working in this very important area. #PalliativeCareWeek

Patient Safety Awareness Week is an opportunity to encourage staff, doctors, patients and visitors to learn more about health care safety and inspire action to improve safety in our health care system! Today we celebrated the week with a sausage sizzle. Patient Safety Awareness Week also provides a platform to recognise the work and achievements of our caregivers, led by the Quality and Work Health Safety team. Bethesda were recently awarded the WorkSafe WA Platinum Certificate of Achievement for the sixth consecutive time, and remain the only healthcare organisation in WA to receive the prestigious award. We are proud to put patient safety at the forefront of everything we do at Bethesda Health Care #PatientSafetyAwareness #SafeHealthcare See less

Today is National Pressure Injury Prevention Day! Never a dull moment around the hospital, Bethesda's Pressure Injury Working Group had some fun providing educational activities and games for staff in the café. Incentivised by cake, lollies and chocolate, National Pressure Injury Prevention Day was a great opportunity to reinforce important messaging to our clinical staff and educate our non clinical staff #PreventPressureInjuries #NPIPD
