We stand alongside our peak body National Disability Services, fellow disability service providers and NDIS participants in supporting the #4aBetterNDIS campaign. We believe the NDIA's current pricing approach falls short of sector requirements and puts the provision of safe supports for NDIS participants with complex needs at risk. Join us in advocating for a sustainable disability support sector 👇 #4aBetterNDIS #NDIS #DisabilitySupport #DisabilityServices #NDISPricing #NDISReform #ServiceSustainability #SupportPeoplewithDisability
🚨 Act now, secure the future for a better NDIS. Since the #NDIS pricing announcement, many service providers warn they can't continue supporting people with disability, especially those with complex needs or in remote areas. A National Disability Services survey revealed 75 per cent of providers may halt some or all services due to new price limits. The sector calls on the NDIA and federal government for urgent action to ensure continued disability services. Key issues include: ⚠️ 3.19 per cent increase fails to cover worker wage uplift ⚠️ Changed definition of high-intensity supports ⚠️ No price increase for Level 2 and 3 support coordination/therapy ⚠️ No support for registered providers The NDIA’s pricing approach undermines quality, sustainable services and NDIS reform. 👉Urge your federal MP to take swift action to support disability services. Your voice can make a difference – write to them today! https://lnkd.in/gh3gxgkr #NDIS #DisabilitySupport #NDISPricing #FairWorkCommission Disability Intermediaries Australia, Allied Health Professions Australia,

"We work together to deliver outstanding results and service to our participants." Ability Options COO of Employment and Specialist Services, Mark Chaffey, talks us through how our collaboration and partnership with CoAct helps us support over 6000 jobseekers engaged in Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Service.
CoAct service partner Ability Options has been supporting people with disability since the 1970s. They have been a CoAct service partner since 2022 and deliver Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Services in New South Wales. Their services span 95 sites stretching from Greater Sydney and the Illawarra to the Central Coast, Hunter and Mid North Coast to Nambucca. Right from the beginning, Ability Options has been a courageous sector leader and a strong advocate for people with disabilities and their families. They have always challenged perceptions and assumptions. Last year, at our ConnectUp conference, we caught up with Mark Chaffey, COO, Ability Options who spoke about their partnership journey with CoAct. He emphasised the invaluable connections made at our ConnectUp conferences, highlighting how they provide a unique opportunity for CEOs in the network to speak and collaborate, which has been highly beneficial for their organisation.

We're excited to connect with the disability community to share opportunities in accommodation, supports and employment. Maitland Ready-Set-Connect Home Event created a platform for providers and the opportunity to connect Participants, Support Coordinators, Parents/Carers. Today's event with One Community helps attendees keep up to date with current housing options in their local community and exercise their choice and control. #ReadySetConnect #AbilityOptions #OneCommunity #DisabilityCommunity #DisabilityEmploymentServices #DisabilitySupport #MaitlandEvents
