Jaspreet Mand, Ph.D., trained as an environmental microbiologist at the University of Calgary and applied her expertise in anaerobic microbiology to solving real-world problems in the energy industry as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a senior research engineer at ExxonMobil. She then transitioned to program manager at the UK's National Biofilms Innovation Centre programs, where she enabled research and innovation for interdisciplinary Ph.D. training. Currently she works as a senior scientist at LysisLogic Scientific Inc., researching microbiology solutions to shape a sustainable energy sector.
