South Korean president's trips abroad attract growing scrutiny

Netherlands visit is Yoon's 16th overseas excursion since taking power last year

SEOUL -- South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol departed for another overseas trip on Monday, this time for a state visit to the Netherlands.

While there, Yoon will visit ASML, a Dutch manufacturer of advanced chipmaking machines, and will attend a business forum with representatives of companies from both countries. The president will also take part in a state banquet before wrapping up his trip with an event featuring classical Korean music and dance.
