I did enjoy of my stay Best staff and helpful reception All staff was patient and kind It has prime location( best location in Amsterdam ) Actually this hotel was perfect with economic budget😍👌🏻 And from the negative points I can mention the old decor of the room and the bed but Considering the cleanliness of the hotel and the price, it can be ignored

Definitely a good choice to select this hotel. After reading much reviews, good and bad, My experience during my stay was very good. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly, especially a big thank you to Rob at reception. He is very accommodating and has a heart for his guests. The location here at damrak is so perfect. Easy to go around, by foot, tram or metro n train service. The room ! got has good sound proof, even with all the events at Dam square. Eateries and shopping is so convenient here. The downside perhaps will be inconvenient for those who drives and the very soft pillow. The mattress is not exactly firm layered with a topper on top, as some other reviews mentioned, it's true. However, we still had a good rest during my 6 nights stay. Definitely will choose to return to this hotel becos of the prime location. Pls note there's tourist fee to pay upon check out, not included in hotel rates.

Disappointed that balance of the EUR 300 deposit charged has still not been returned six weeks now since our stay. I’ve called several times and received verbal assurances and an email confirming the refund will be processed but still nothing. I accept that the city tax will be deducted from the refund, but the hotel agrees the balance is due back to me. I’ve never experienced such a thing and this is very disappointing. I’m at a loss how to get my money back!

My wife and I are finishing a 2 night stay at the Swissotel Amsterdam. What a great hotel. Great location to Dam Square. Shopping everywhere. A little pricey but Primemax Store is a cheaper option. We are Platinum members. Given an upgrade to a suite. Great room. Separate sitting area. Very large room. View over Dam square. Breakfast although not big very enjoyable to start the day. Even better being complimentary. Staff wonderful. Location great. Hotel clean and tidy. Room perfect. If we come back it will be the place to stay

One of the worst Accor hotels among countless I have stayed in

As an Accor Platinum member for a number of years I have stayed in countless Accor hotels around the world and I rate this as among the worst. I was left with a strong impression that the managers of this hotel are either inexperienced or uncaring. Missing amenities on check in with no hair dryer and bathroom face towels.Terrible bed with 2 foam mattresses stacked on each other which moved during the night so I fell out of bed. The oversized desk and chair made access to the adjacent bed difficult.Poor room servicing with bathroom amenities and tea/coffee often not replaced. I strongly recommend not staying in this hotel.
