We had rather high expectations before we checked in but were disappointed soon after we arrived. The usual check in time of the hotel is 3pm and by the time we got there it was almost 5pm. Were told that one of the rooms was not ready but should be ready in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting the room was still not ready and we started to follow up. It took us several reminders in order to get the room key at 630pm. Since they made us waited for so long we decided to order room service as dinner. Food was below average and was the worst in recent memory. The next day sometime between 5 and 6am our entire family got woken up by rooster crowing sound. The crowing persisted on and off for about two hours. I asked the hotel staff and they said the roosters were from Sentosa wild and there was nothing they could do about the crowing. Oh well we came to Sentosa to relax and thanks for making us stressful our entire trip as we needed to make sure we slept early. Mind you, this crowing is a daily occurrence and there is nothing the hotel can do for you in case you live near the roosters. I have never had this kind of experience before in my life and I guess I am super lucky to experience Sentosa wildlife. Breakfast was very average and flies was a problem, especially for fruits and Bacon which weren’t covered. I saw bodies of small insects inside the large fruit container. I also saw a fly crawled into the bacon container. To be fair I never complained as the rest of the food looked fine. We just avoided the uncovered dishes. Actually I saw quite a few took a look at the fruit container and walked away. On the bright side, the staff at the hotel, ranging from concierge to restaurant staff were very friendly and polite. But given the hotel was quite full, when we called the operator the line did not get picked up on several occasions. The Italian restaurant was the major bright spot. Food was delicious and we spent three meals there. Swimming pool was decent but there were many mosquitoes around. I got bitten so much that I wished I never sun-bathed there. All in all, I wish I had picked another hotel and given the hotel wasn’t cheap I really think we deserved better.

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Sofitel Sentosa in Singapore with my husband and our 11-year-old daughter. The experience was great! Our daughter loved it so much she didn’t want to leave. 🥹 The service was excellent, and our room, the Imperial Suite, was fantastic—spacious and beautifully designed in a French style. The hotel went above and beyond by decorating our bed with rose petals and toys, and providing cake and champagne for our intimate celebration. 😍 During our stay, we tried almost all the hotel offerings, including breakfast, brunch, and dinner at The Cliff restaurant. Here are some unique aspects of the hotel: - Very quiet, surrounded by nature (trees, flowers, peacocks, fishes, monkeys etc.) - Exceptional hospitality (way above many Singapore hotels) - Children-friendly (special amenities like toothbrushes, body lotion, and shower gel with a special children’s design!) - Pet-friendly (many dog owners with their pets, perfect for sharing experiences with your fur friends) - Huge swimming pool - Close proximity to Tanjong Beach and Palawan Beach (lots of entertainment options for children like HydroDash, Hyperdrive, Kidzania, etc.) - A brisk walk to Sentosa Golf Club, the best golf course in Singapore 🔥 - Great Italian restaurant, The Cliff - Whisky and cigar bar, Maduro, with live music for fans of cigars and British clubs - Beautiful location for pre-wedding and romantic photo and video shoots What can be improved: - More activities for children to give parents a chance to relax and enjoy the hotel offerings more Special thanks to Mr. Giovani Viterale, the General Manager. His leadership has significantly elevated the level of service at the hotel (I know the hotel for last 12+ years).

We are residents of Singapore & decided to stay here over a public holiday weekend as we also had an event at the hotel. It's a beautifully designed hotel, probably the most resort/bali-esque you can find in Singapore, so you do feel like you have escaped the hustle of the city. The room was large & nicely decorated, the pool area is stunning & although we didn't indulge, Le Bar is gorgeous & would be a great setting for afternoon tea or early evening drinks. Maduro, the bar underneath the lobby is a lovely setting with a little courtyard & a great place for a night cap at the end of the evening. My only constructive criticism is that they did not seem to be equipped to cope with the volume of guests they had. It was a holiday weekend, Fathers Day & there were clearly a couple of conferences happening. This resulted in queues both for check in and check out as there were only 2 desks (I would suggest a separate check in area for conference guests as often happens in other hotels) secondly it resulted in a very crowded breakfast with service a little sporadic especially on the Sunday we were there. One other point to note Sunday Brunch was clearly very busy when we stayed due to Father's Day & when it finished many people & children came down to use the pool which reduced the tranquillity. For those new to Singapore, don't forget to get your QR code from the hotel for use when coming on to Sentosa as there is an entry fee otherwise.

Tried the hightea with my family and ww enjoyed very much with the ambience, service and food/drinks. We were served by Nurul and Jessie with very commendable and professional services. Particularly, Nurul is very friendly, helpful, attentive and gives us a home-coming feelings. Wonderful afternoon!

The staff were very attentive and helpful especially The Cliff and Le Bar staff. Atmosphere is everything and atmosphere at Le Bar was great. Nothing was too much for the staff. Please pass this message on to them. After the Spa nothing was more needed than the continued pampering from Le Bar staff. We hope next time we come over our experience is the same.
