enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was very good as was the Restaurant. Very well sited in London. Good for the Underground and walking around as well.

I stayed in this hotel located in a strategic area of ​​the city. However, it's a shame for the staff who were not attentive to the customer, the receptionists were extremely rude and mean. The breakfast food was mediocre, totally not recommended!!

Easy check in, I asked for a quiet room and was told I had already been booked into 1122. This is a dual aspect corner room with great views and very quiet. The electric plugs were not working so no TV or charging but maintenance fixed this. Dinner in the Bar was ok, service was very good.Breakfast was ok also. Lots of lifts so no waiting, very easy checkout. Super close to the Tube.

First time to London

The hotel has a great location, on the same block (just north) of the Southwark Underground Station. It's a short walk to the Tate Modern, Waterloo Station, and restaurants and bars on The Cut (a nearby street on the way to Waterloo Station). The room was clean and modern with those trendy hard surfaces and the bed was comfortable. The lighting system is a bit annoying as it has a master switch that must be turned on before you can switch on the the bathroom light. In line with the new thinking, the rack for holding bags and hanging clothes is barely adequate. That makes this ibis better for a short stay. The restaurant, Charlie's Corner, is well rated and deserves it. I found the buffet breakfast very nicely done, even though there were limited day-to-day changes.

Don’t stay here, stay somewhere else. Very poor experience and only stayed due to location. £165 for a Friday night. We stayed because of location to southbank Centre and Southwark station. Hotel room is tired. Dirty blinds. Nowhere to charge your phone by your bed. A kettle and nowhere to plug it in. Dirty spoon, how difficult is it to put a clean spoon with crockery? Ibis is a basic but ok chain, the excel docklands is good even if it is basic, this Ibis is very poor.
