Money grabbing scammers

Horrid and disgusting scammers who have no respect or shame. Trying to shame people by saying they have left the bathroom dirty by ### on the floor/shower and then charging a cleaning fee. Do not recommend and will keep sharing with others to make them aware of this scam

Scam hotel with unhygienic bedding. Avoid at all costs.

After checking out, the hotel will accuse you of defecating on the floor (not kidding, they will say you took a dump on the floor!) and charge you a $100 cleaning fee when you obviously did not defecate on the floor. There is no way to fight this as the cleaners set the scam up with photo evidence with indeterminate time or location so it's impossible to fight this especially after you have left the city to the next leg of your journey. The deputy manager doesn't take the matter seriously and is probably part of the scam. Generally, the hotel is extremely unclean with what looks like blood all over the mattress as though someone has been knifed or menstruated all over it. I will avoid this hotel at all costs in future.

Got scammed here by housekeeping. Seems I am not the only one behind charged for extra cleaning fees. They say I left a S%#$ in the shower and then charged me 51 EUR for additional cleaning fees Disputed it and they refused to refund the charge showing some old picture that they could time and date stamp AMEX stepped in and refunded it and refused to pay hotel. I also note that this cleaning charge scam that appears to be a common practice and after googling it I am not the first to be scammed by this hotel Accor group I hope you remove this hotel from your group DODGY DODGY DODGY

Dear Kiwiholidays and other Readers, At Accor our priority is the comfort and well-being of our customers and all complaints are taken seriously and handled with care. We are familiar with the incident, the hotel investigated the matter on the day of the guests' departure after the complaint. The hotel reacted and corresponded immediately with the guests and the case ended positively. Hotel did refund the cleaning fee within one business day and not AMEX stepped in. After this we have received no additional comment or complaint from the guests and closed the case. Due to the protection of the privacy of our guests we do not wish to share more information. Beautiful 4-star hotel for a one night stay, everything was in order. The room was clean and spacious and even though it is located near a busy street, we couldn't hear the traffic at all! The beds were very comfortable and the TV was huge! Great hotel, perfect for a short stay.
