Such a lovely hotel. All the hotel staff are fantastic, so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. It's lovely and clean too, plenty of parking. Mihaela from housekeeping was so friendly. I got some extra coffee and couldn't get the key to work to get back into my room but she kindly showed me how to use it. With a smile too!

Friendly staff and there are good rooms. Hotel is close to q great shopping centre and a there are a variety of activities and restaurants nearby. Hotel is nice and quiet. Breakfast and all day menu available at hotel. Snacks available as well.

Broken Bed and Poor Customer Service

Stayed here for one night as it was half way to London for us. The location is very convenient, close to the M25/Dartford Crossing and on the edge of an Industrial site next to Thurrock/Lakeside retail park - with lots of amenities near by. I would say this is an older Ibis compared to many of the others I have stayed at in the past. Normally I think Ibis is a good standard however the room was a little tired and the overall feeling of the building was somewhat drab. The reception/bar area was however to the modern Ibis standard. The room was clean and whilst not one of the newer Ibis rooms was adequate and we settled in for the night. Sadly neither of us got much (if any) sleep. The bed was so uncomforatble (which is unusual for an Ibis) and almost felt like you were rolling into the middle of the bed. We both got up with back ache first thing and decided to head home straight away due to the lack of sleep. I then thought i'd look under the bed to see if there was a reason for it being so uncomfortable - and there was a definite reason! The frame was broken and some of the supports were missing. The central support was splintered - although no bits were on the carpet so it had been cleaned since it had happened. There was a sign in the room to contact the front desk by WhatsApp, which I did and added photos. They initally offered a free breakfast which we did not require and on check out I did insitst on a refund and requested to be contacted by the manager to discuss it. They didnt contact me and when I reached out to them a few days later, they were dismissive (saying I did not give them the opportunity to resolve it - yes Ibis, in a way, it was my fault for not crawling around on my hands and knees at 3am to discover they had given me a broken bed!) and I should contact customer services. It took 3 months to get a response from customer services, whilst apologetic they would not do anything further and refered me to the customer dispute resolution service - which was a French website and sadly the automatic dropdown menu options did not translate! I've never had an Ibis issue before, they have always been good. It's just a shame that when there is an issue, their customer service seems non existent. A problem like this is a chance for their customer service to shine - sadly, like the bed, it was broken.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ibis London Thurrock M-25,and I must commend the exceptional reception team and their outstanding service.From the moment I walked through the doors,I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality.The receptionists were incredibly professional,attentive,and eager to assist with any requests or questions I had. I would definitely recommend the Hotel for my friends or family.

The services provided is excellent. David and Sky provided excellent quality customer service. The quality of food is very good. The staff attend to you on time. The environment is very clean and I feel relaxed and I enjoyed my stay. There are plenty of car parking spaces.
