What do you do if you're struggling to keep track of employee performance evaluations in your small business?
I would consider all the options. 1) Competency Matrix: first we need to map the skills of each individual to understand where we are & for that performance matrix is useful tool. once we know where we are then we can plan better on path forward. 2) leverage strength of others to shadow weakness of others. 3) Project Shadowing: Assign 2 team member for one project so both can learn & improve their competency. To maintain same productivity assign 2 projects to 2 persons. 4) Training Plan: Individual needs & aspirations are different. This needs to be taken care while developing training plan 5) Motivation: mostly ignored by all but it is most important to understand what motivates team! Support them to satisfy their hunger. Rest will follow.

What do you do if your sales negotiation is at a standstill?
1) Offer Value to client by highlighting why your product is better than others and it is not always Price but also life cycle and service quality. In Turbomachinery most important thing is reliability and availability. One additional downtime means millions of dollar in lost production. 2) Propose options: which will help customer to choose the scope as per their budget but still with same quality and Brand. 3) Openly discuss with customer and try to push internal organization to reduce cost,take support from sub vendors. 4) Keep Patience. Customer also has internal processes if they want to go beyond budget. Give them reasons and points which will help them to convince their management 5) If you have tried all then keep quiet & wait
