AdventureSmart is a program that gives Canadians or visitors to Canada all the resources they need in order “get informed and go outdoors.”  Canada is the third largest country in the world and is filled with diverse environments that are as beautiful as they are different: wild prairies, deep valleys, grassy plains, dusty hills, rugged coastlines, dense forests, mountains, and more!  Such a varied landscape offers endless possibilities for outdoor recreation. Whether you are taking a leisurely stroll near the coastline, or hiking a trail that will push your limits, make sure you are prepared and informed regardless of activity – and then get moving! There are many mental and emotional benefits to outdoor recreation, and it’s part of a healthy lifestyle!
