- Touring campus is a great way for students and their families to get a glimpse of what life is like at UC Merced. You can take an in-person campus tour with one of our knowledgeable student tour guides. Or, if you can't make it to campus, we invite you take advantage of our virtual tour. The virtual tour provides exclusive access to residence rooms, research facilities, and our Sierra Nevada Research facility at Wawona.
