Troopers investigating after man hit and killed

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - A man has died after being hit by a car Wednesday night on U.S. 52, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the incident happened between the State Route 93 and State Route 141 junctions in Ironton.
They have identified the victim as Tamia Skye Prater, 24, from Ironton.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said they are still investigating the cause of the incident, but they say the car that hit Prater had one occupant.
They said weather could have been a contributing factor in the incident.
