CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - At least one person has died Thursday night in a five-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 60 and Davis Creek Road (Alternate Route 10), according to emergency officials responding to the scene.

Entrapment and several other injuries were reported.

The crash was reported just before 9 p.m.

First responders say U.S. 60 is closed in that area. They say people at the fireworks show at Barboursville Park will not be able to exit the backside of the park onto 4-H Camp Road due to Alternate 10 being closed near Route 60.

The road will most likely be closed for hours, police say.

Barboursville Police at the scene said no further information, including about a cause, will be released until possibly Friday morning.
