“Q”uality hire for Red Storm

RIO GRANDE, Oh. (WSAZ) - Rio Grande University made it official Monday morning when their first head football coach in over 74 years met the media. Quincy Wilson had his initial press conference for the Red Storm who are fielding a football team in the fall of 2025. Wilson was a star for West Virginia University between the years of 1999-2003. He came back to WVU as the assistant director of football operations from 2012-15 under Dana Holgersen.

Quincy then had coaching stints at Glenville State, West Virginia State, the University of Fort Lauderdale and comes to Rio Grande from Fairmont State where he was the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator.
