Cameron Phillips wins at Bellefonte

BELLEFONTE, Ky. (WSAZ) - A record held by a current PGA pro was broken today by a teenager from Scioto County. McDermott, Ohio’s Cameron Phillips won the NRP Bluegrass Junior tournament with a score of -13 which beats the former best score of -12 by Justin Thomas set in 2009. Eamon Chen from Canada finished in second with a couple of local players also earning top 5 spots. Pikeville’s Cameron Roberts is third with a final score of -2 while Huntington’s Jack Michael came in fourth with an even par score from the tournament.
