Two shutouts in AAA semi-finals

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - It was absolute domination by Cabell Midland and George Washington Thursday night in the WV Class AAA semi-finals. The fourth ranked Patriots belted out 20 hits and beat number one seed Martinsburg by a final of 17-0. GW pitcher Bryson Hoff threw a two hitter over five innings. In the second game, the Knights beat Martinsburg 8-0 behind ten strikeouts by Kenyon Collins.
Midland will meet George Washington Saturday morning at 10 to compete for the Class AAA state championship at GoMart Ballpark.
