Huskies & Generals lose in Class AA semi-finals

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Both WV Class AA semi-final baseball games were won by the slimmest of margins Friday at GoMart Ballpark. The top ranked Winfield Generals fell to #4 Independence by a final of 4-3 with the Patriots scoring all of their runs in the 6th and 7th innings. The second game featured a walk-off win by the Frankfort Falcons when Uriah Cutter singled home Blake Jacobs as they beat Herbert Hoover 2-1. The Huskies were able to manage just one hit in the game.
Here are the highlights from both games as Independence will meet Frankfort in the Class AA state finals Saturday afternoon.
