Pair of pitchers were dealing at Ona

ONA, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Baseball fans at Ona were treated to a pair of masterful pitching performances with a ticket to the state tournament on the line. Cabell Midland beat Ripley 1-0 in 12 innings when Clayton Hettlingler hit a single with two out and a 3-2 count.
Midland starter Aden McCormill had to leave after 8 plus innings and gave up a couple of hits while Ripley starter Gatlin Donohew went 10 plus innings and gave up just three hits.
Cabell Midland is heading back to the WV State Baseball Tournament which starts next week in Charleston and here are the highlights from the game
