Bryce Blevins baffles Bobcats

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Marshall pitcher Bryce Blevins has already won two Sun Belt Conference awards for pitcher of the week and he might win a third after his performance Saturday afternoon. The sophomore from Lawrence County, Kentucky threw the first complete game shutout since 2017 and allowed just four hits in the 5-0 win over Texas State. Marshall scored two runs in the second and third innings to give them a 4-0 lead with an AJ Havrilla double adding the fifth and final run of the game.
Marshall clinches the series with Texas State and the final game will be Sunday at noon from Jack Cook Field. Here are the highlights from the game as seen on WSAZ.
