Cats & Eagles get 1st round NCAA matchups

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - It took less than 15 minutes into the 2024 NCAA selection show for Kentucky and Morehead State to find out who they are playing and where. Kentucky is a number three seed in the South Region and take on number 14 Oakland Thursday in Pittsburgh.
Morehead State was given a 14 seed by the selection committee and take on number three Illinois Thursday in Omaha which is the East Region this year. The Illini just won the Big Ten tournament championship.
Times for these games will be released later Sunday night by the NCAA.
