Nitro girls advance to Championship and Spring Valley, Huntington, South Charleston head to state

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Lots of basketball across the Mountain State on Thursday. The Nitro Lady Wildcats advanced to the Class AAA State Championship game with a win over Wayne. Charleston Catholic’s girls fall just short of upsetting top-seeded Wyoming East. Huntington, South Charleston, and Spring Valley’s boys all punched their tickets to the state tournament.
