Minford was mighty late against the Dragons

ATHENS, Oh. (WSAZ) - The Mighty Minford Falcons used a 14-0 second half scoring run to beat Fairland in a Division III sectional semi-final. The final score was 58-45 from Athens and they will play North Adams this coming Saturday. The Green Devils staved off a comeback by the Ironton Fighting Tigers to win by four. In other games from the Convo, Wheelersburg beat South Point and McDermott NW blew out Portsmouth. The Pirates and Mohawks also play in Athens on Saturday.
