Herd baseball wins while softball falls on Sunday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Marshall baseball used a three run first inning to get the win over Manhattan on Sunday afternoon by a final of 3-2. The Herd also got the series win over the Jaspers and they host Bellarmine on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Marshall softball lost to Purdue by a final of 10-3 and are now 11-9 on the season. The Herd is back in action this weekend with games against Notre Dame, Indiana State and Ball State.
