Irish are heading back to Charleston

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Huntington St. Joseph’s defeated Tolsia Tuesday night to win a Class A girls regional title and secured a berth in next week’s West Virginia state girls basketball tournament. Gilmer County did as well by beating Tug Valley. On the boys side, sectional play began in the Mountain State with Spring Valley, George Washington and South Charleston all advancing to Friday’s final.
