HHS falls to top team in Class AAA

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A battle of top ten teams in different West Virginia classes went to Fairmont Senior on Monday night as they beat Class AAAA Huntington High 65-60. In other action from the Mountain State, Herbert Hoover beat Winfield.
Meanwhile, the playoffs began in Ohio with Fairland and Chesapeake advancing in sectional play while Boyd County beat Johnson Central in Kentucky boys action. The regular season is now over in Kentucky girls action as Russell beat Boyd County.
