Monday night hoops

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - There weren’t too many high school basketball games in our region on Monday night but that didn’t mean they weren’t important. In WV boys action, Nitro won the Battle for the Bridge over St. Albans while the Fairland girls beat Portsmouth Notre Dame. In that game, Dragons Bree Allen became the schools’ all time leading scorer. Over in Kentucky, the Russell girls topped Ashland by ten and here are the highlights from all three games.
