Irish sweep Midland

ONA, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The St. Joseph’s Fighting Irish beat Cabell Midland 54-52 Friday night in boys high school basketball and took both games against the Knights this season. Also getting victories in boys action this evening was Nitro over Sissonville, Wheelersburg beat Lucasville Valley, Greenup County topping Russell by 17 points and Ashland defeated Madison Southern. In a battle between #1 Morgantown and #7 Midland, the Mohigans won by 20 points.
