Royal Ascot 2024: TV channel, streaming details, how to watch and race times
Royal Ascot is finally here and the five-day meeting is set to attract some of the world's best horses - here is how you can watch all of the action live
Summer has finally arrived - which means the most glamorous event in racing, Royal Ascot, is here. The eyes of the racing world will be firmly fixed on the pinnacle of British horse racing for one of the year's biggest social events. Five days of non-stop action will see 35 races take place, with the iconic Gold Cup as the centrepiece.
Over 250,000 racegoers are expected to flock to the Berkshire track, which has been the venue for the prestigious event since 1711. A glittering array of celebrities is expected to grace the occasion, which offers unique glitz, glamour, and Royal patronage.
It remains uncertain whether King Charles III, who attended every day of last year's meeting, and Queen Camilla, will be present to watch any of the horses they own. What channel is Royal Ascot on?
All races will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITV4, with The Opening Show airing on the latter at 9am on Tuesday 18 June. Sky Sports Racing subscribers can also access coverage.
What time does Royal Ascot start?
This year's meeting stretches over five days from June 18 to June 22. Each day at Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire, will host seven races, with the first starting at 2.30pm and the final race getting underway at 6.15pm.
