England, having stumbled into the quarter-finals, face Switzerland today for a spot in the final four at Euro 2024. The journey so far has been a tough watch for Three Lions supporters, with three lacklustre performances in the group stage.

Despite that, Gareth Southgate's team managed to advance as group winners. The last 16 saw England deliver another disappointing performance against Slovakia, saved only by a stunning goal from Jude Bellingham in added time.

Harry Kane put England ahead just seconds into extra-time, and Southgate's men clung on to secure their place in yet another quarter-final. However, a repeat of such a performance is unlikely to suffice against the Swiss, who comfortably defeated reigning champions Italy in the last 16.
