Fans of ITV's The Chase seemed to be fed up as they all made the same complaint while watching a repeat of the popular quiz show. Presenter Bradley Walsh was back at the helm of the ITV show as four hopeful contestants took on Chaser Paul Sinha

Contestants Laurie from Welwyn Garden City, Tracey from Stoke-on-Trent, Patrick originally from Chorley and Seri from London pitted their wits against the Sinnerman in the hope of winning a potential prize pot worth thousands of pounds.

They worked as a team and played strategically to answer general knowledge questions against the clock and race down the game board to the exit trying their best not to be caught.

However, the episode of the show originally aired last year, in May, as viewers at home remembered it fondly. While some were happy to rewatch the episode, others made the same complaint as they pleaded for new footage.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) many viewers expressed their wishes. One asked: "Have they just stopped making new episodes?
#TheChase".

Someone else replied: "Don’t normally have new ones on in the summer, they normally put them on in September #thechase".

But it was just too much as the original fan added: "F**k that! I can't cope [crying emoji]." Meanwhile, another user suggested: "They should rename ITV to ITV Repeats. More repeats on this channel than a +1 channel.

"Bring in the advertising revenue and we will invest in bonuses. If I worked in advertising I’d focus more online than this channel.#TheChase #ITV".

Elsewhere, someone suggested that the repeat didn't "age well" after one of the contestants said they would use any prize money to visit the Titanic.

They wrote: "Blimey, today's episode of The Chase hasn't aged well. Wants to visit the Titanic in a subermisible? Eeech #thechase"

Just a month after the ITV episode originally aired, on June 18, 2023, Titan, a submersible operated by the American tourism and expeditions company OceanGate, imploded during an expedition to view the wreck of the Titanic in the North Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. Everyone on board died.

The Chase airs on ITV and ITVX weekdays at 5pm
