How many episodes are in Channel 5's The Night Caller and when is it on?
The new drama starring Robert Glenister, Sean Pertwee, Suzanne Packer, and Stephen Walters will air for four consecutive nights on Channel 5.
The Night Caller is the brand new drama coming to Channel 5. The contemporary thriller is a "claustrophobic tale about the power of influence those with the loudest voice have over the most vulnerable people," and follows taxi driver Tony and his "unhealthy obsession" with a late-night radio talk show host called Lawrence.
Cab driver Tony is played by Hustle, Spooks, and Sherwood star Robert Glenister, while Sean Pertwee, known for You and Gotham, takes on the role of Lawrence.
Others in the star-studded cast list include Casualty actor Suzanne Packer, who plays cafe worker Rosa, and Outlander star Stephen Walters in the role of Rob.
The new drama might come at a welcome time for many who are looking for a new thriller to get stuck into after weeks of disruption to the television schedule as broadcasters prioritise coverage of the Euros 2024 and Wimbledon.
What's more, director Diarmuid Goggins, has said he was drawn to the script because it's a "little bit different" from the crime thrillers we are used to.
He explained: "There are a lot of crime thrillers out there right now, and I was searching for something a little bit different. I felt The Night Caller had all of that suspense and mystery to keep you watching, but it also had an emotional heart, something that would resonate a little more and spark a conversation.

The Night Caller starts on Sunday, July 7. Viewers can tune into Channel 5 from 9pm to watch the first hour-long episode.
There are four episodes in total in the series, with fans able to watch the show over the next four consecutive nights as it will air in the 9pm slot from Sunday, July 7 until Wednesday, July 10.
