Prince Harry and Meghan are all over the place, "going in so many different directions," and if they don’t get it together, they may find themselves “grovelling their way back to the Royal Family,” says one royal insider.

The Sussexes relocated to the US in 2020 in pursuit of entertainment careers, but it’s not quite working out, with their “tell-all tour” being a complete disaster, followed by their Spotify deal falling through, and now they’re on the cusp of a “make or break” moment with Netflix.

To Di For Daily’s Kinsey Schofield spoke exclusively to Daily Express US about their track record in the US: “Harry and Meghan already have a rocky reputation when it comes to their business dealings in the states.”

She added: “They do not have a good history when it comes to collaboration.”

Netflix is make or break. If Harry and Meghan's Netflix contract falls through... the Sussexes will have to resort to grovelling back to the British royal family.”

Schofield, who founded and hosts the To Di For Daily podcast, named after Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana and wrote the book R is for Revenge Dress: A Princess Diana–Inspired Alphabet Book for Grown-Ups, has been following the Harry and Meghan story from the beginning.

According to Schofield, Harry and Meghan went through multiple producers on their six-part docuseries, which also aired on Netflix, and Meghan tried to distance herself from the final product when speaking to Variety magazine. And it left a bad taste in people's mouths, who worked on the series, says Schofield

“You saw Archewell audio employees lash out on social media because they wanted proper credit.”

And while the docuseries premiered in 2022, it appears there are Archewell employees who are still harbouring feelings of resentment toward the Sussexes, says the media aficionado.

She said: “Harry and Meghan are going in so many different directions and honestly alienating a lot of employees in their wake.”

She added: “Aside from Invictus, it’s his only valuable quality. If they continue to burn industry bridges… they will have to grovel back.”

But, its not going to be easy with Schofield saying via email, writing in all caps, “HARRY WILL INEVITABLY HAVE TO APOLOGIZE to reclaim his proximity to the royal family.”
