The UK weather may have taken a turn from the glimpse of sunny weather but despite the rain, the humidity is making parts feel rather muggy. And it often has an effect on our mood and sleep.

Now, Mirror writer Zoe Cripps has found a solution to 'sleeping like a baby' in the warmer summer months. As picking Dyson's Purifying HEPA Cool Formaldehyde fan has changed her restless sleep.

While on the look for a solution to her broken sleep, Zoe came across a mega £150 off the Dyson model, and as it's still around in the sale today it may just convince shoppers to take the plunge. Since snapping up the much cheaper cooling device Zoe says she's been 'singing its praises to friends and family' and can finally recommend it thanks to the more justifiable price tag, as you can read her review below.

The UK's summer weather can be turbulent, one day it's humid and the next raining. Dyson's mega sale on one of its cooling fans may just convince you to upgrade any old desk fan you have.

The UK brand has cut £150 off its Purifier HEPA Cool Fan, to a new price of £399.99. While it offers relief in the heat it's also packed with air purifying filters.

At £549.99, it's not exactly a bargain, in fact a hefty price to pay for a few months of the year. However, this week after discovering the fan is still a part of Dyson's Deals Week, which knocks a substantial £150 off the original price, reports the Mirror.

Now available at a limitied-time price of £399.99, the fan is much more affordable. For those interested in the technical details, this purifier doesn't just detect but also eradicates formaldehyde (a harmful pollutant emitted from building materials, smoking, household products and fuel-burning appliances like gas stoves), ensuring your bedroom remains free from this damaging substance.

Additionally, the fan features a HEPA H13 filter and activated carbon filters, which capture dust, allergens, gases, and other ultrafine pollutants. If you happen to wake up sniffly in the morning, this could potentially help combat that.

This makes it an all-encompassing solution for cleaner air, ideal for hayfever sufferers. As Zoe shared: "After consistently good sleep for a week, I realised it wasn't just a fluke. The only time I felt slightly unrested was when my partner set the unit to a one-hour timer, forcing me to scramble for the remote to restore the cool.

"As a hayfever sufferer who also gets very congested at night, I've found I'm breathing much easier as well." You can read Zoe's complete review of the HEPA Cool fan here.

If the fan is still a bit too pricey for you, don't fret, there are numerous other affordable alternatives available. The PHILIPS 800 Series Compact Air Purifier is priced at £149 here, while a 30-inch Tower Fan from John Lewis can be purchased for £40 here.
