There's a massive day ahead for Samsung fans with the Korean technology giant holding its another one of its famous Galaxy Unpacked events at 2pm BST. The launch event will take place in Paris with Samsung confirming that its new Galaxy Z range, which features foldable displays, will be the stars of the show. These call makers look set to get clever AI built-in along with the usual upgrades such as faster processors and longer battery life. However, it appears July's event won't just be about phones.

Rumours are rife that we'll finally get a launch date for the Galaxy Ring wearable which was first shown off in Europe at Mobile World Congress back in February.

This device pops neatly on your finger and has sensors inside that sit against your skin to measure things such as heart rate to give you insights into your health and fitness.

Although Express.co.uk had a first look at the Galaxy Ring during MWC, it was tucked inside a glass case and little else is known about this device but that could all change this afternoon.

A report on French technology website Dealabs speculates that the Galaxy Ring will be officially unveiled at Unpacked. The team says it may be able to track sleep and even your blood pressure without needing a chunky smartwatch strapped to your wrist.

We already know it will come in colours such as gold and silver as they were on display at MWC but there could also be a whole swathe of sizes to make sure it fits all fingers.

There's not long until we find out everything there is to know about the Galaxy Watch but don't expect it to be cheap.

Dealslabs are speculating that it could cost as much as €449 when it finally arrives in stores.

At current currency conversion rates that could mean UK fans will need to stump up almost £400. Ouch!

Express.co.uk will be in Paris and will bring you all the news live as it happens. The event kicks off at 2PM BST on Wednesday July 10 so Watch this space.
